About us...

The Memorial area is a prestigious upscale market that boasts mature trees and neighborhoods with oversized lots.  It is west of downtown and was one of the first suburban areas to follow the job growth in Houston.  Today you will see many ‘tear-downs’ as the value of the real estate far exceeds the value of the original homes that were built there.  Memorial lies within the western edge of the “Energy Corridor” and so there are jobs convenient to the residents.

We are more than just a team of professional real estate agents at our office. Our agents are an integral part of the community – we are your neighbor, friend, and/or colleague. We shop, dine and play, we volunteer at area nonprofits, and most importantly, we send our kids to the local schools and enjoy all that our community has to offer.

About Cheryl Oldweiler

     Cheryl Oldweiler is an experienced and highly respected residential real estate agent based in Houston, Texas. She has been licensed since 2006 and is known for her exceptional knowledge of the local market and her ability to listed to and take care of her clients' needs. Cheryl group up in the Houston suburb of Pasadena, TX and moved to Houston proper in the late 1980s. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Organizational Behavior and Management from the University of Houston, which has provided her with a solid foundation for her work in real estate.    

   Prior to becoming a real estate agent, Cheryl worked in P.R./Corporate Communications for El Paso Corp for four years and also worked as a computer software trainer and sales rep for ExecuTrain. Her experience in these roles taught her the importance of attention to detail and negotiation skills, which have proven invaluable in her work as a real estate agent. 

   Cheryl's decision to become a real estate agent was inspired by her own bad experiences when buying her first two homes.  She decided to become the hard-working, knowledgeable, and honest advocate for consumers that she was missing when she bought her own homes. Her husband also pointed out that she was already helping people with real estate matters, which led her to take the plunge and become a real estate agent.      

    Cheryl is know for her tenacity, conscientiousness, and willingness to go above and beyond for her clients. She is hones, patient and always puts her clients' needs first. She is also a skilled marketer and never too busy to communicate.

   Outside of work, Cheryl is an avid traveler and sports fan, particularly the Houston Astros and Houston Cougars. She is rarely seen without her camera. She is a member of the Houston Junior Woman's Club, which is dedicated to helping children's charities. She also serve a monthly meal at Ronald McDonald House and is a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church Choir. She was on the founding committee of "Operation School Supplies" with the University of Houston, which collected supplies for schools in need, and has held several positions on volunteer Board of Directors. She also spent some time on the Oak Forest HOA Board. Cheryl's mother is a great inspiration to her, and she strives to live by her example of being positive, helpful, caring, and hardworking. In all aspects of her life, Cheryl strives to "show up ready to work" and "make it a great day".        Cheryl believes constant education is imperative to keep current in Real Estate and better serve her clients.
